Vintage Samsonite Bag
This weekend there just happened to be an estate sale close to where I live… that’s right, I didn’t even look it up on the site, it was just there. So I felt like that was my sign that I had to stop!
Well I’m glad I did!
I love vintage hand bags and clutches! Well I stumbled across a Samsonite luggage collection; it was nice, but then I saw this little Samsonite messenger type bag/luggage. I’ve never seen one quite like this…. AND it was ONLY $5.00!!
I can’t wait to carry it! It’s a great bag for the fall… I could use it as an oversized “purse” right!?? Maybe I will start carrying my laptop around with me every where I go so that I have an excuse to use this bag more often!

Halloween Treats
At the Halloween craft party Marlaina had this weekend there were some pretty tasty but spooky treats!! I decided to make Mummy wraps! Super easy to make!!!
2 cans of Pillsbury crescent dough sheets. I cut the sheet into small strips
and wrapped them around Eckrich Smok-y breakfast sausages (original/cheese).
like so…..
put lil dots of mustard for the eyes… and BAM! Mummy wraps!
Marlaina made FINGERS: cheese sticks with bell peppers. Some of them have red coolaid on them because I had a mishap with the coolaid jug! But it added a lil scariness to ‘em!
She also made these bones, made out of pretzels and marshmallows dipped in white chocolate! SO YUMMY!
Can’t wait till the next craft party!

Autumn Inspirations
I’m often reminded that Fall is HERE. My good friend over at Little Pink Shamrock has been in a Fall CRAZE for at least two weeks now! She has already started putting out her Halloween decor as you can see HERE ! She is always on top of things like that
When the temperature starts dropping and the leaves start to change colors that’s when I know Fall is finally here! Well, we are in Texas, so it’s still 100+ some days! So in November is when I start realizing its time to get out the long sleeve shirts and start the wood burning in the fire-place! The last couple of years my fall decor has been quite lame if I must say so! lol Well this year I wanted to get some better ideas of how to decorate… I even came across some Fall fashion and trends I liked as well.
Recently, I’ve become quite obsessed with wreaths… not that I have any to hang up YET, but I love getting ideas of what kind I would like to make. This is one of my favorites that I’ve seen so far!!
I absolutely LOVE the pine cones on the mantel. Such a simple project and looks classic.
That is just a tad bit of Fall home decor…. I will post more as I come across the ones that inspire me.
This year I have a couple of WANTS for my closet, when it comes to my Fall/Winter wardrobe! As I was browsing the H&M site today, I couldn’t help but share! I have yet to go to the new location by me…. but with these deals, I will be going SOON!
I fell in love with this turquoise pea coat!! ($69.95)
Infinity Scarves!!! enough said… I’m in the process of making my own! I will let you know how that goes
This year I’m determined to get a pair of riding boots! @ H&M these are $69.95. CUTE!
This headband is adorable!! Only $4.95! SOLD!!!
My purses have to be BIG! Don’t you love the color? Purse: ($49.95)
I’m DEFINITELY not a fashion expert, ask my family!! LOL BUT I know cute items when I see ‘em. I’m still learning how to mix-match, and incorporate good pieces into my own closet!
One trend I do have down is the nails!!! I recently found a love for nail polishes and trying new trends!
It makes me happy! I’m excited about the fall colors I’ve been seeing! Essie is by far one of my favorites and its honestly the most I will spend on a nail polish! They typically run about $8.00 a bottle. I know, call me cheap… I’m used to 3 for $5.00! lol This years fall collection is one that I will def be investing in! These colors scream FALL!!!
I have to admit, I’m the girl who checks out what Chanel’s colors are for the season and then tries to find the exact same color in the “cheaper” polishes!
Sorry… I refuse to spend $20.00 + on nail polish! I just can’t bring myself to do it… so I just drool over them instead!
The designs blow reminds me of a Burberry ad for some reason! It’s very detailed!
Happy Trendy Thursday!
This years Christmas Tree
Every year Nevaeh and I take turns on our Christmas tree theme. Last year it was her turn; as most girls are, she was into peace signs bright vibrant colors so this is what our decorations and tree looked like last year….
Cute, right!?
Well this year its my turn…. and I already want to start buying Christmas decorations!! I can’t decide between a peacock theme..
Or something a lil more traditional. Baby Blue and Silver! I LOVE those two colors together…
What do you think, peacock or baby blue and silver?
